Highly Energy-efficient and Performant Disk-drum Screw Press
Presentation :Adequatec has patented a highly energy efficient disk-drum screw press with high filtration performance that ensures a 95% capture rate. Compact, without any odors nor noise and vibration, the Swingpress only requires 6 kilowatts of installed power per ton of dewatered solids while Centrifuge Decanters, the commonly used technology, require over 250 kilowatts of installed power. It was designed to meet the needs of very large WWTPs with the lowest possible operating cost. The Swingpress does not only enable its users to save money and reduce their carbon footprint, but it also enables them to use renewable energies (PV, wind...) to provide the low power needed. Users can achieve up to 25% savings on power consumption of their water treatment plant.
